Film producer Tom DeSanto (X-Men 1 & 2 Transformers) talks about the aborted version of Battlestar Galactica he was going to do with director Bryan Singer (X-Men 1 & 2, Superman Returns, Valkyrie) for FOX network in 2001.

The interview was conducted in 2005 by 'Commander Taggart' of the website www.tombsofkobol.com and has been edited for YouTube.

  • What a shame. DeSanto and Singer worked for a lenghty period on this project only to have it canned. After watching this and listening to DeSanto I feel this project would have been succesful.

    DeSanto GOT IT.

    I despise the new Galactica but here we finally have what would have a been a continuation worthy of the original and that WOULD have worked. It's a cruel twist of fate that not only did it not happen, but that a bastardized version whose creators openly mock the source material without which they would have had no show in the first place, DID.
