This could have turned ugly real quick if someone decided to change lanes as you were splitting.
I'd rather be safe than sorry and just use the HOV lanes.

if you don't split lane in the carpool just coz' you think you will make a more interesting video... up to you. but to me, it doesn't make the video any more interesting, in fact, it makes you look stupid. I am not attacking you personally, but I am just saying what I think.
I split lanes as well, but I am extremely cautious because there are some dumb drivers in LA. I remember seeing a white truck just cut out from the car pool lane while it is still double solid yellow.

2 things...do you realize the carpool lane is going faster than you? Do you realize you're supposed to lane split between the carpool lane and the fast lane?

@motoracer1486 I love my POS bike it get me from point A to point B. I'm a rider. As long as a bike has 650cc or more I'm happy with any bike.
also i didn't use the carpool because it wouldn't have been lane splitting and the video would have been boring. lol
