On a Wednesday, during a modest police intervention headed by the Chief Inspector (Gabriel Goity), the lifeless body of Doña Rosa (Gigi Rua) is found. She was the wife of Don Jaime (Héctor Bidonde), a powerful, intriguing character. We learn that the Chief Inspector and Doña Rosa had been romantically involved in secret.
The crime is reconstructed and the police, with their activity, make a close neighbor, Mr. Ramos (Mauricio Dayub), feel threatened while Gardener López (Pompeyo Audivert) feels his own world comes crumbling down.
And then, the unexpected takes place.
Palm Sunday is a small-town thriller, with a very particular and simple story within a plot and weave that are quite complex. Timeless but nevertheless real, all takes place in a very beautiful place in the world, which might be anyone's place, on any given day in anyone's life.
