  • you leave me hypnotized :) thanks for updating your joni covers. I'm going to be posting some new covers soon, but of Lauryn Hill. There's more Joni to come, but I don't feel worthy now that you're covering her on youtube again :)

  • Oh come on, you know you're a genius with the guitar. I simply love your Roses Blue cover!

  • That's my favorite Joni album and every song on it is perfect.

A few weeks ago I was driving across the desert up at the Four Corners region of the USA. (That's where Colorado, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico meet.) I played that album in the car, and it spoke perfectly to that area. I often wonder if that's the burning desert she was driving through when she wrote it.

Thanks for your rendition. It's great.

  • I think that Hejira is Joni and Joni is Hejira. When I think of her, I think of this album.

  • I think you are right, even though I like Court and Spark better - mainly because it is more commercial; but Hejira seems more reflective and layered.

  • I really think you are amazing - move to the USA and get an agent.

  • Hejira is my favourite Joni album and this is my favourite song of hers. Great job.

  • I will tell you another story. I lived in Hollywood when this album was recorded.

I delivered liquor to the recording studios.

I delivered to her studio and she walked out the door just as I walked in.

The sound guy played this song for me on the studio equipment.
