I always seem to notice these types of attacks on female performers from men. It's as if they feel threatened when a woman is able to do more than write a three chord pop song, like they're out of their place.

All i gotta say, is try to sing that melody and play the line she plays at the same time. That's fucking talent. And she is one of todays better indie guitar players. And another note, play that fucking solo, it's hot. You groove to it.

Well unlike robots, and maybe you, most of the way people communicate is through subtext. So yes, I read in a little but but I think it was pretty reasonable given the context. And how do I know that people talk about women differently than men? Life. I see it, and maybe you don't but it's definitely out there.
You can act like you're taking the high road but it seems like you're running from a little insight.

How could you know they wouldn't say that about a guy. What implication? This is youtube, it's purely text, how could you pick up any implication other than what is said exactly....I'm got the implication that he thought unicorns came from rainbows??? Sort of a wasted thing to say. ^ This is just a perfect example of people reading into things that aren't there, and then attaching some bereavement they have with it, because they're looking for an argument. I'm done talking.

The thing is that they wouldn't say it about a guy. And I think it was sexist because the implication was that people only think she's good because she's a girl. But where do white males face inequality exactly? I'm a white guy myself but we just have things easier. When a white guy does something, its as an individual. It seems like people don't think the same way about women.
And most feminists aren't overly sensitive, except on tv where they're all bitches

'Chill the fuck out lady, I mean you're real pretty and all' What is sexist about that exactly? If this was a man performing and the comment was 'Chill the fuck out man, I mean you're a good looking guy and all' I would not find that the least bit sexist at all. Feminism is just needlessly overly sensitive in this day and age. Also, please fuck off with the patriarchy implications, men also face inequality in a number of areas, if white males were truly privileged, that wouldn't be the case.

"Chill the fuck out lady, I mean you're real pretty and all" It's a lot easier to criticize feminists than it is to honestly look at your assumptions. We see things from the perspective we're born into and as a straight white male with every advantage in the world, it can be hard to see the struggle women have had and continue to have. Listen to cheerleader and let her tell you herself
