  • @j77walker Additionally, it was just the fact that they saw themselves, the Pharisees, better than anyone else but they took the law and added to it making it about what they could do and less about what HE could, can, and will do. Religion is what we do in "observance" of God, faith is what God does in and through us for His purposes. Example, the lyric of this song.

  • @PeterObi One could deduce from the fact that Jesus placed pretty much all emphasis on "faith" than religion. He doesn't want us to merely ritually observe faith but to walk by it. The fact that someone would antagonistically reply or take offense to my comment shows that some still hold "ritualistic beliefs", and the twisting of "the law", of more value than encouraging someone who has just encountered the Holy Spirit, however briefly. That is Pharisaical and honestly, sickening.

  • @j77walker Where does it say in the bible that Jesus hated religion? The pharisee's saw themselves better than anyone else. They upheld the law of moses which was good but looked down on everyone else. They twisted the law for their benefit....

Relgion = the practice of religious beliefs; ritual observance of faith

  • @Kaeden11 Yes, very much so. They are also Canadian :) Very awesome band. You should totally check them out even if you might not be Christian. They have some great music.

  • @Jwolf806 Personally I love Marc Martel more. He has a slightly different quality to his voice. Plus, he sings opera :D

  • @Jwolf806 It should come as no surprise that Marc Martel has won a contest to play the part of the late Freddie Mercury in the 2012 Queen Extravaganza Tour, a grand production celebrating the music of Queen and the classic band's 40th anniversary

  • @jerichomutant It's the Holy Spirit and not being religious is a good thing! Jesus hated religion.

  • I've been listening to this for two straight days now. I didn't go to sleep last night because I couldn't get enough of this song. Love it

  • are they a christian band?
