The ironically amusing thing about Brown's works is that they show the Vatican as the 'good guy". Opus Dei has profited well from Mr. Brown....they might as well have been his paymasters.

The historical inaccuracies are a smoke screen. What is true is the power & evil hegemony of the Vatican & Opus Dei - in clear contradiction to Christ & the Gospel.

@smerrit01 Wake the hell up. The Church isn't rich by any means, it has very very few possessions for an institution with that many million members, meaning it needs resources to service them.

If you're talking about the outstanding treasures of art kept worldwide, then you are incredibly deceived about how they constitute "capital" or "wealth". They are priceless and are actually costly to preserve. And most of this church art is FREELY available, which it wouldn't in private collections.
