This time I thought smaller, so OfB people can more realistically afford it. Its still expensive but not so much that you can't make margin eventually.

@stilanas The elevator problem gets fixed if you have a later expansion like freetime or AL

My main complaint is that elevators are useless. I've found sims riding the elevator for the sake of riding the elevator. They are not as able to efficiently pathfind with the elevator as they are with stairs. Not just that but the elevators have an unrealistically high failure rate. When was the last time you heard of someone dying because a cord snapped? It happens all the time in the sims

how do you take videos like this? i mean video the house/community lot building procedure?

go into the options and set all the capture options to best. Press V and it will record a video of whatever you are doing and store it somewhere in your my docs/ea games/the sims folder. Edit it with windows movie maker
