Azz started off strong but by Ashes and Dust, his story and dialogue became really bad cliches. Hard Time was cool. Good Intentions and Highwater were also good.

Not to mention overly sex orientated. Notice that? Pretty much all of that run was rather fond of sex as the shocking thing, rather than the more straightfowards stuff used previously.
I prefered the old stuff, set in the 80s.

Oh yes, My most recent favorite Hellblazer story is the graphic novel 'Dark Entries' which came out recently.
