Humble apartment with multimillion dollar view. Well, it's a rainy day, and most of the time it's much more impressive. Awesome cloud formations, incredible sunsets. About a 35 minute drive west of San Jose, Costa Rica. Not far from the campus and gardens open to the public of UPEACE (United Nations University for Peace), and also close to the Rasur Foundation/Academy for Peace of Costa Rica.

  • Actually, I've just moved into a new condo right on the beach. My previous place was $300/month at the time. My current place is large, with a very nice master bedroom and private bath which I am renting by the night ($50) or week to people who want a personal quiet retreat... time for personal reflection and growth. I'm a very clean quiet person, needing quiet time to work and be, so looking for people who are compatible with that.

  • how much do you pay for your little place, if I may ask?

  • Interesting view. My former pastor co-owns a villa resort and also started up a church in CR. Can't remember where offhand. Very cool guy.

  • "Stuff for my stuff!" We Americans love "stuff"! Lol It's the perfect size but the chickens sound like children screaming...Do you need a car out there? I heard gas was high there too:-(

  • @RVSCvideo

Thanks for the reply. i understand this is inexpensive compared to California but is probably about what you would pay in North Carolina (where I live). That is what gets me about Costa Rica....they try to get American prices but the infrastructure and everything else is no comparison.

  • So sorry I completely forgot to check this email address!!! Some places are pricey and others not, depends on the location, but in direct comparison to California (my previous home), it's much less expensive. Sorry again I hadn't been checking email!

  • It´s a lot more expensive to live in USA
