Purba Rgyal 蒲巴甲Pubajia performed his song in the film Prince of the Himalayas at the show celebrating the return of HK to China 10 years anniversary.


Purba Rgyal never forget that he is a tibetan and work hard to become an actor and to promote his own culture. As he put it there are many great singer but very few well known actor from tibet that people know.

I was a bit suspicious of him at first...but now I think he is doing a great job of transforming traditional Chinese chauvinistic attitudes towards Tibetans. Go Phurba Kyab...please do not use pu ba jia as this reminds Tibetans of Chinese colonization of Tibetan names.
