Buy the stuff did not exist within the group. Some unrelated guy suddenly made friends with them and offered to buy it for them.
It's all very shady. Please do some research. There is a very good possibility that the police may have over stepped their bounds and set these guys up (whether it was on purpose or as a preventative measure, who knows).

There's a lot more to this than meets the eye. What terrorist organization in their right mind would film themselves in alleged training videos.
Also the fertilizer they where alleged to have purchased for use in their bombing attempt was stored in a storage bay owned by one of the undercover police members involved in the infiltration of their "group"...
