Bush Law Documentary trailer

"Bush Law" is an exploration of the potential for cooperation between traditional Aboriginal law and the mainstream Australian criminal justice system in reducing violent crime in remote Aboriginal communities.

Director Danielle Loy a lawyer from Alice Springs was inspired to make Bush Law from the frustration of working in a legal system that was failing Aboriginal people. When Danielle met the Warlpiri people of the Lajamanu community, she was compelled to work with them in sharing their vision for a dual legal system, which reduces rather than increases violence.

Was that a trailer or a teaser, cause I feel like a person who's smelt a peach but it's just out of reach.

I'm not a big fan of over using effects, in this case the text zoom. The simple things are not cool now, not enough remembering of the old ways, fades and cuts. When we used a zoom it meant, look out, this is important, proper big one.

Good content, now don't leave us hanging : )))

Thanks for the feedback. The zoom is just an effect used in the trailer. The full length film speaks for itself and has no text zoom.

a very well made documentary on a very important topic. Poorly thought through Government action has casued this national disgrace and its only by black and white people coming together that we can make inroads...and go the Walpriri wizard.
