Quick review on a neat little product from energizer's new solar line, the 9 led solar lantern. It can be powered either by the solar backup battery or via 3 D alkaline cells. It features 8 white led bulbs, producing up to 66 lumens of bright light, with the 9th led producing an amber color for night light use. As far as the run times, the unit will run for around 4 hours (2.5 bright) with the solar battery and an amazing 165 hours with the D cells. This truly is a great product, it's very bright, can be used for camping or emergencies and is reasonably priced. To get a energizer hybrid solar lantern of your own, please check with your local retailers and online stores.
hey, could you tell how long you think it would take the solar panel to charge the light?
great vid!

@Skylad14 It takes only 5 hours from a completely dead state in bright light (add a couple hours for overcast conditions)......You can leave it a few hours longer for a deeper charge.
Thanks for watching!
