Breathing Space; Cromwell's Death [The Tudors]

ARGH. I am so pissed off right now.

As you've probably noticed, this is my first vid in ages and ages and ages. Because of my exams, I have been spending (marginally) less time on the net. But the real problem is, as some of you may know, that I lost all my clips when my external HD broke. Although there is only a slim hope it will be fixed, I cling to it, because I am seriously so loathe to rip 20 episodes of the tudors and a few DVDs as well. Also I am a true idiot when it comes to ripping stuff. I went downstairs to get Gone With The Wind and opened Magic DVD Ripper before I realised it was a video!!!!!

God. Anyway enough about my ripping abilities. The bigger issue was that in the time away from vidding I have gotten totally rubbish at it - this vid here is testament. I wanted to do something to warm up before I did my bits for the Tudors Collab, so I decided to go for this, the song is totally addicting, I was doing it for both Anne and Catherine (of Aragon) to enter into Castigatedx's contest before I lost my clips. Recently I saw I vid to this that used greyscale really effectively and I tried to imitate that here.

I only had Episode 8 and Episode 1 when making this (that's not an excuse, it would be rubbsih anyway, but yeah) Better luck next time!

@tinthepark91 Did I say he did? If I said that, I probably meant 'the king' as the character portrayed by Jonathan Rhys Meyers, you know how he has that 'OHH I WANT CROMMERS BACK' in S4, a speech based on something Henry VIII actually said. But I wouldn't have actually meant H8 himself.

Oh my gosh; what an actor Frain is. Cromwell's eyes are so SAD, you can literally just see it there....poor man. Nice job with this video, I really like it a lot (even though it's really sad!) Cromwell wasn't a bad man at all, not even close. There were far worse men than him at court; I would never call him cruel.

ForEverSnoopy, I'm sorry but I don't agree. regardless of the out come of his actions. He did not deserve that. NOBODY did. Tom, Anne, her brother, all the hundred of people who Henry send to their deaths. They did not desreve that. They didn't even get a fair trial. Henry made everything work for him. The man was a Tyrant. If anybody at that time did deserve death it was him. The man was a fat sexist pig. He deserved worse then what fate delt him.

he always seem to get rid of people that he had great affection for....he was hated by his subjects because of the killings and he pretty much bankrupted the country...not a great ruler...

I almost cried on this video.

Not because he didn't deserve to die (but I don't think he did :\ ). It's because I kinda think this actor is pretty cute. lol xDDD

And this is the typical story how life isn't fair. He did everything he could for the stupid king. And here is what he gets in return -.-''

Behead in haste, repent at leisure. Henry regretted this to his dying day, as he rightfully should've. Cromwell did everything he asked, and he just tossed his loyal servant to the dogs. Amazing how fickle Henry's heart could be.

@dontfascisizeme To protect their families is the main reason. I am sure that many would have liked to say something else, but it would not help their relatives keep their property or even worse, having Henry look at them as enemies.
