Well this is certainly interesting. If you'd like to learn more about my own theory concerning corporations, "Corporacracy", check you my YouTube Channel.

Major dilemma of society is that as workers, being non-members of the corporatocracies, or for that matter Plutocracies, are deeply entrenched in a manufacturing base that only supports an 'old world' infrastructure for either transportation systems, capital good mfr, that rely too heavily on availability of 'cheap abundant sweet crude' as fuel to burn away at our whim. That luxury is no longer there, we must somehow find a means to 'extract' the workers and redeploy 'Green'.

Unfortunately they have spent millions to reframe the issue as one about smaller government (and elimininate unions) to eliminate any regulation or challenge to their financial interests. Then they have appealed to their uninformed base with Orwellian disinformation and charismatic talking heads, on Fox News and Limbaugh, to rally against democracy for the people, just like Kadafi's and Mubarak's supporters. It is not a pretty picture for the less organized who just want a job.

agree... this is something none of us want... there must be some way to dismantle any 'pending Neo-Feudalism of the 21st Century...
very aware of some New England states already shifting in this direction with workers willing to just 'go with the flow'...
Another important trend is looking at 'Slow Money'... and regaining independence of regional populations from the consolidated powers of BIG CORPORATIONS (food/resources/goods/anything

@xzotyqa The movie Food, Inc. is a recent version of how orporatocracy has impacted farming and food. The book, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, by John Perkins explains how it manipulates foreign policy where Bechtel and Halliburton call the shots. We just saw and suffered by how the bankers do it. Tom Hartmann on his talk radio show directly addresses the issue and the move back to FEUDALISM, where we all become the serfs to the Corportocracy and we are owned by the "Company Store".

The Corporation....yes!
something made in Canada... and i totally missed it until recently... my bad...

@xzotyqa The psychiatric diagnosis angle was done by "The Corporation" (and how the Corp. became a "person" under the law) which is a very interesting documentary which also has many hours of extras, I think that's what you are referring to. Came out in 2003
-
you might want to check out the documentary 'Corporatocracy' on youtube... 1 hour is free... additional 8 hours... i have not yet seen...
it is from this documentary do i pass on info on how corporatocracies are IN FACT described as being 'psychopathic' if they were as assessed as real live persons by psychiatrists... think about that significance... it is mind boggling we don't realize its profound impact on real people... us!

Foreigners have the same free speech rights in America as Americans do. Free speech protects the listener as well as the speaker. Congress cannot ban "On the Origin of the Species" or "The Communist Manifesto" just because their authors were foreigners. It is not Darwin or Marx's whose rights are threatened. It is ours.
If the Chinese Communist Party wishes to create anti-US propaganda I have the right to read it whether congress likes it or not.

Our founders did not give us free speech so we could watch porn. They gave us free speech so we could criticize our politicians in the run up to elections. There is nothing even the slightest bit shady about a corporation threatening to criticize a candidate who votes counter to their interests, just as their is nothing wrong with me threatening to vote against a candidate who raises my taxes.
Write your congressman if you want to see some protective legislation to combat the negative aspects of the S.Ct. decision, such as prohibiting any corporation that is unable to file a declaration that it has no foreign business nor foreign assets, from contributing to any political campaign or promoting legislation and regulating their activities as a foreign person.
