  • Well, all I can say is, this was a fun mess around with loads of friends at the end of our 1st year, most of them having never played together before... it wasn't intended to be taken seriously, I don't think it was even graded for most of the performers. The plan was to enjoy ourselves with lots of silly outfits, get drunk, and play... no big deal

  • This is a just an ok cover of this classic Parliament cut! The drummer of this group is nowhere near (RIP) the great Parliament drummer Jerome Brailey my mentor. He could drum roll with his foot, double and triple kick! Only I real drummer cranks like dat!

  • On this performance there were 2 drummers...

  • ha ha ha, nutters

Well, first off - WOW. Jerome (bigfoot) Brailey aint dead. He has two FB pages and post daily. and the band has the sound and feel of p-funk 77.

  • may the funk be with you

  • Man, this looks like fun! Faithful cover, sounds great!

  • Damn as a die hard P-Funkateer I have to say they sound pretty good!

  • Great version. I like it!!!

  • I am impressed. Horns are good and I love the drummer keeping the essence of the bell on the cymbal. Good job.

  • @lunupe83 No disrespect dude, but Jerome Brailey ain't dead. Tiki Fulwood and Tyrone Lampkin, both drummers for P-Funk, are dead (RIP). This is one of the better P-Funk covers I've seen on YouTube. Even had the horn solo like the original. Long live the funk.
