Adapa, son of Ea and Sumerian king of Eridu, was regarded as the first man and sage, but was not considered immortal. Whereas Adam is claimed to have named the beasts and fowl, the Akkadian myth credits Adapa with the invention of speech. On a fishing expedition in the Persian Gulf the south wind buffeted him but the strength of his curse broke its wings. Afterwards he was summoned to heaven by Anu who was displeased by his action. Before he left Ea dressed his son in sackcloth and told him not to partake of any food that he was offered while there. Greeted by Tammuz (see Ishtar), Adapa informed the dying king that he mourned his absence from earth, a sentiment that was well received. His frank admission of guilt greatly appeased Anu who offered him the "food of life" and the "water of life," of which Adapa refused and returned to Eridu.

Another legend tells of his wrath for Ea, Adapa like Adam discovered his father's advice was intended to deny him immortality. He suffered the same consequence as Adam by learning that henceforth disease and death became the fate of humankind.

  • Lulubi were a group of tribes during the 3rd millennium BC, from a region known as Lulubum, now the Sharazor plain of in the Zagros Mountains identified their city Luluban with the modern Kurdish town,Halabja.

The early Sumerian legend "Lugalbanda and the Anzud Bird"set in the reign of Enmerkar of Uruk, alludes to the "mountains of Lulubi" as being where the character of Lugalbanda encounters the gigantic Anzud bird while searching for the rest of Enmerkar's army en route to siege Aratta.

There are 2 supposed sunken cities in the middle east that have thousands upon thousands of scrolls that are lost from mankind, dating back to the beginning of civilization itself. I'm more interested in what those scrolls would say

  • @daftjosh Thank you for bringing yet another comment I wish I hadn't made to my attention, too much weed and conspiracy theories, that shit can get on top of you very quickly. Its all myths dude and they all belong in the same place, the fictional section. A year is indeed a long time. Cheers.

  • @123backinyerface I thought EA advised Adapa not to eat the food and drink offered to him by Anu, the food of Immortality. Ea told Adapa, Anu would offer him the food of death for breaking the south winds wing. EA had given man (Adapa) wisdom but wanted to keep his status above him, which he would have lost had Adapa had wisdom and immortality. Its meant to be a myth about man gaining consciousness?!

  • @lastdays7 It depends on the kind of god you believe in... and what exactly that god IS

The image of this DISTINCTION does not leave doubts is a symbol of "FLOWER". At the senior on a rank and "flower" the greatest on the size, and this "flower" besides has more PETALS!!!

Now you understand, why Sumerian named the kings "LU-GAL", and king's sons and princes of SumerLand named "KI-GAL"??? Still have not guessed?

On-Tatar "LU-GAL" "the big rose" or "the big flower" means!!!!!

And word "KI-GAL" is meant by "a small rose" or "a small flower"!!!!!

    Whether all all is clear?

  • Look at the most ancient cuneiform tablets of Sumerian: Аnunaki have a subordination and distinction signs, like military stars on epaulets.

Most important Anunaki had something reminding a modern compass or hours on a thong on WRISTS of the right hand.

The image of this DISTINCTION does not leave doubts is a symbol of "FLOWER". At the senior on a rank and "flower" the greatest on the size, and this "flower" besides has more PETALS!

  • I read about this in "The Gods of Eden". A truly interesting experience, it's shows all religious texts are mostly symbolism, deviated from the possible real thing...
