TWLOHA Video Contest

I am holding a small video contest supporting To Write Love On Her Arms, a non-profit organization supporting teens troubled with depression, self-injury, eating disorders, drug addiction, and suicide. People, especially at the worst point in their lives, need to remember that THEY ARE NOT ALONE. To spread awareness for TWOLHA, I'm holding a small video contest. The rules are simple:

Create a video that supports awareness of To Write Love On Her Arms through self-injury, depression, eating disorders, drug addictions, the effects of bullying, and suicide, through whatever means you like (you can create a video sharing a story about someone you know who has suffered, make a general video about the topic, or just anything that supports the movement. Personally, I sign songs in ASL that support the cause. There's really an unlimited amount of examples of what you can do, even if its just putting pictures to music. Anything helps the cause.)

Post the video as a response to this video and pass it along to everyone you know. The more people that know, the more we can increase awareness about this topic.

you know i will help you with this! i am one of the ones who would have been affected by this a year or so ago... i want to help others see they are not alone and that help is here, we care, and we dont judge. i want to help people anyway i can... i will think of something i can do...

No one deserves to kill themselves. I've been told almost everyday that I have nothing to live for (by my own self and other people, sometimes friends).

You deserve to live your life. I hope this becomes a national holiday where everyone writes love on their arm, hand, fingers, etc. It needs to be heard.

I posted a video response. I'm exactly sure if it meets the criteria however I truly support this cause. there are too many instances where the signs for suicide are ignored ((specially in teens)) I've lost 7 close friends, that I would consider family, to suicide and If i can save one life then it's worth it. TWLOHA forever ((keep on keepin on))
