I like your video. Although I am a BaschxAshe supporter...BaschxPenelo would make (or rather: "would have made") for a much more intriguing love story/pair than most any JRPG love story/pair in existence.

Anywho, I don't think the age thing can be used, because usually the whole age thing is because "dirty old men" want to take advantage of "beautiful younger naive girls".

But Basch is not like that. He's an honest knight, and Penelo is smart, not like she'd love just about anyone anyways.

I agree with Monkeypants, Basch isn't the type to be pursuing a person with light intent. It'd be different if Balthier went after her. Basch is noble, a sweetheart.

Why sweat over it? Not to mention they dont exist so those on the video that are getting angry over the pairing seem to be livid only to be livid.

morningtidedream is also correct - why are people freaking out about this couple and not Vaan/Balthier? There's an age gap there too.

YES!! You're absolutely right! It's the way-too-predictable knight/princess pair! I mean, sometimes it's lovable (in my opinion, Seth/Eirika from FE8 is a prime example), but theirs would be so... blaaaaaaah.

Not to mention there's enough material to make Basch/Penelo possible.

I love this song--it really fits Basch's personality! And for all the people freaking out due to his age, it's really more about how he can't have her, right? And come on, Balthier/Vaan is one of the biggest 'non-canon' pairings, whatever the hell that means, honestly. And Vaan isn't legal either.

this song was written by a songwriter called richard wynne it was stolen and sold to 2 well known song writers and their publishing company for a pitance altho a fortune was made for the receivers wynne got nothing, ironic really when you think about the title of the song , in this case there is not much justice in the world
