The man is just so great -I grew up listening to Prarie Home Companion shows dad had taped, i remember the night we worked out he was blinded. I'd die to pick one out with him, and his voice is under rated! One of the greats of all time, i hope he knows it!

Great stuff. I've been lucky enough to see the Doc, and David Holt, together many times at Merlefest, NC. Even been invited to his home in Deep Gap. Great guy, great player and incredibly modest. Told me he'd be a happy man if he could play like Chet! I've always preferred Doc, myself! I'm originally from Glasgow, too - a long time ago, though.
