@InsanityHere the reason it is harder than it looks is because these are fractal patterns but it looks like he is just slapping paint around - like all fractal patterns you can zoom in on any section and it will maintain its mathematical precision. No-one else has ever been able to produce work like this. So whatever you think of it as a work of art, as a work of mathematics it is flawlessly brilliant and unique

I just don't see the skill, especially after they stated elsewhere that his paintings were choreographed. If he can sell shit for 140m, then damn, why can't I?
And I don't want to hear "oh, it's harder than it looks". Man, I've shit harder.
The only thing I take away from this is that there is a lot of money out there to be made, in the most nonsensical ways.

Everything is abstract. It depends on how far away or how close you are to the subject. You have to understand that the world is like a nut.. you crack it open and another nut is inside that one...crack that one and another nut is inside that one.
So that infinity is not just " outthere" its "inthere" too.
Youtube user named " Adnoydall" is in love with Pollock, even though he is passed away

No actually Pollock was very serious about his work and if you studied his early work you would notice the evolution to his drip paintings (No one spends their entire life painting things they know are "laughable"). I will be the first to say that the large mural drip paintings are not my favorite, but this continuing opinion among art ignorants that the artists are laughing at the people that enjoy their work needs to be stopped, it does a disservice to Modern art in general.
