@SPS148669 I love the way the Acela gets quoted but very rarely is it mentioned that the high speed sections don't amount to much of the total service. Nonetheless its far better than the shit that passes for high speed passenger trains in Australia where I live.

@nythreefer They have reduced speed through some stations, not all and that was very very slow.

this isn't at full speed, their required to reduce speed when going through a station....still fast as hell tho

In U.S they have the 240 kilometer per hour Acela Express (only high speed train in USA.). The no platform gates on the high speed section as well, Dangerous some high speed rail around the world still don't have safetly gates.
