Very interesting. Obviously a beautifully made model to start with but sometimes these are the more difficult to make seaworthy as the original builders may not have had that goal in mind and the vessel may not have been as strong as she needs to be in the crucial areas. I bet she is impressive when under way. Are there any scheduled outings coming up?

Original builders (RN) never intended it to sail, it was a waterline model and a bit sparse with details. It was originally the back-drop to the recruiting service stage set and was carried around the UK on an articulated lorry. Wind is its biggest enemy when sailing. More details on the Yahoo manned models group site and other similar models. Glad you like it. Recent heartattack precludes any outings this year.
