oh man, the guy at 3:27

Yes, I was aware of that when I wrote the comment. I didn't mean "it's a shame" as a condemnation of the audience for not knowing English, and I bore them no ill will. I meant it more abstractly than that.

It was in Germany. They had no idea what he was singing in English.

WE LOST GUY WILLIAMS AT THIS TIME TOO......

I love this song....who else could sing about bananas, or consider writing a song about them? HARRY!!

With all the incredible story-songs that Harry did, it seems almost `silly to remember him by this one; yet, it's the first one I remember in 1976, and I saw it performed live in a 2 and one half hour concert in a tiny venue in South Carolina, with Harry sitting not ten feet in front of me. It was magical, and I cherish that experience to this day.

STUPID HIPPIES! Leavin' poor Harry to fill in your parts.

Silly song, but great performance!
Horrible audience, was he performing to the Christian Youth? Or maybe Zombies?
-
you need to upload the studio version of this song...=)

That was such a good performance. It's a shame the audience didn't get more into it.
