The Haunted Mansion - Walt Disney World Super 8mm Film

The Haunted Mansion. Souvenir film #722. This was purchased in December of 1982 for $15. It is one of several attractions that were put on 50 ft. silent film reels. They were sold at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. This is the Disney World version but all of the interior footage is from Disneyland. This film was taken from a "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" episode from 1970 called "Disneyland Showtime". It featured Kurt Russell, The Osmond Brothers and E.J. Peaker riding the Haunted Mansion.

This film is projected at 18 FPS. Sound has been added and it was preserved on VHS in 2000. The film was fading and pretty red then. Now the color is all but gone. I also have the Disneyland version which is different from this. I plan on posting it soon.

I didn't know you added sound to your version also, very cool. I think I also have the Disneyland version. I know I have both versions of Jungle Cruse, Disneyland version of its A small word, Pirates, and Big Thunder Mountian. WDW Country Bear Jambore and Jungle Cruse.
