UFO,Colchester,02 March 2009 8pm

Thought it might have been a star, but what i later realised is that it had a flat cut on the top of the circle. In addition to that, i have filmed stars before and they have a definite multicolour glow to them, this one did not. I'll leave it to all of you to decide.....id be real interested to know why it had a flat top in the light and a darker circle background not lit....

Well point of fact is that it has not been in in the skies since i filmed it that night (including the following night) to this day (so not a star and not a planet).

Im not sure this is a UFO, but at the same time i cant explain the flat top. If it were a star, planet, a plane, helicoter, baloon or any of those things, then why does it have a Flat Top and the rest of the circle in the dark?? Thats just odd.

It is a Sony Handycam DCR SR72 HDD. Only 25 Op zoom, Zeiss lens, 2000x Digital Zoom. I sat it down on a fence for stability, so i got nice and close..

omg.. i was walkin home wid my fren earlier near garrison church and i saw 2 orange fireballs hovering in d sky wen no planes are allowed to fly due 2 volcano ... nway i was like damn wats dat n in split second it dissapeared into thin air.. and this is the 2nd time i have seen it.. i wish i had evidence as a proof as i cudnt believe wat i was seeing.. it was like a huge fireballs nothing like i have ever seen..glad im not the only one.

hi nice capture,i have an interesting theory,i think it is either the planet venus in alignment or maybe a ufo,from what you have stated on several bits of infomation as you saw the object as having a flat top and moving up and down quickly,this is common as most planets are compressed in space which also causes them to wobble.if yourself or anybody would like to comment on this theory i would greatly appreciate this.
