ran from 1967-68 on ABC, Tuesday nights, from back in the day when full-color television was new and shows (in case you didn't have a color tv) let you know they were 'In Color'...
@fromthesidelines for us, it wasn't until near the end of 1973!! (bought my first color television in 1975...)..Screen Gems shows, but only on ABC, had the same music and background for its 'in color' intro..the only difference was the text: Bewitched, Flying Nun, Love on a Rooftop, etc...NBC dropped its peacock in 1971 (except for the Tonight show and various specials)..CBD, 1968 (i think(..dunno when ABC dropped its 'in color' intros......
Virtually every ABC prime-time series had a custom "color" bumper between 1966 and 1969, seen before the episode began- this is similar to the one for Quinn Martin's other series for the network, airing on Sunday nights {"Next- 'THE FBI'...IN COLOR!"}. Color TV was a BIG deal in those days, because about only half of all homes in the U.S. had access to color sets [my family didn't get OUR first one until January 1972!].
