Michigan lawmakers are collaborating with the insurance industry to steal $11billion dollars in funding for severely injured patients and throw them into a dollar poor state Medicaid program putting them at risk with little or no care. Patients are speaking out.
William Horgan is a paraplegic who discusses his personal experience as a Michigan No Fault insurance recipient, his severe pain levels acquired in his auto injury, his highly specialized pain care with an implanted intrathecal pump, and how a state Medicaid worker actually laughed at him when he inquired if Medicaid would cover the cost of his care.
