Russia needs 'nuclear' response

Russia doesnt have serious scientific studies regarding deep nuclear disarmament, and the current US scientists report is a good stimulus to create one, says political analyst Aleksandr Pikaev.

I think it's wiser for every country to have at least a small stock of nuclear weapons, because when u don't ur not equal, somebody might invade u or dictate terms to u.

That's why countries like north korea gone nuclear, now there safe, atleast from an invasion.

I think North Korea safe from an attack because the sensitive area it's situated. Of course they might not able to attack usa, but their are so many US alies like South korea and japan.

So it's imposible those countries would support any kind of invation.

And think about Iraq or Serbia, if they had nuclear weapons Nato would think twise.

i have to disagree. for one; more nuclear weapons means more chance of proliferation. the chance of nuclear warfare is much higher if both sides. but it also depends on technological advantages too, like deilivery systems & second strike capability. North korea is in no way safe from an invasion. Diplomacy is the only thing that can prevent nuclear war.
