The first time I tried this dress on, I wasn't as taken with it. But once everybody started lusting after it, I tried it on again to see if I was wrongfully missing the boat. Holy smokes, I am so glad I did! This dress is absolutely perfect. The fabric is soft, it comes with its own slip (which also feels nice against the skin despite being synthetic) and it fits true to size. The "lace" looks gorgeous against my skin tone (please forgive the fitting room lighting!) and the dress moves naturally since the fabric has a nice weight. For reference, my measurements are 32.5, 25, 36 inches, 5'8" tall and the XS fits like a glove. The length is perfect and this versatile dress will serve me well for most of the year with tights, boots and a cardi or with pumps and sandals. At the price of $168, it is worth the splurge.

Please feel free to ask fit questions or request item reviews in the comments or email me at showingandtelling (at) gmail (dot) com. I drive to the store closest to me every week or two weeks and take videos for my own reference. I thought some others may find them helpful!

  • @Lixxleful Thank you! At 5'7"-5'8" approx, the dress comes to a couple of inches above my knee. It feels like a really appropriate length. Bear in mind that your length will vary according to your chest measurements, because that will determine where the waist hits. This dress is really worth full price!

  • @iClash65 The tights are the Merona premium from Target, circa 2010 (not sure if these are still available) but they are the best tights I own. Comfy, stretchy and perfect sizing. I am not wearing shoes because I am inside the Anthro fitting room and their floors are clean :-)

  • It's hard to see the length because you are wearing tights. How short is the dress?? It looks great on you, BTW!

  • love the tights with no shoes

    you look so comfy

could you do a review on them?
