This car did not have facotory air conditioning. At most a dealer installed set up or most likely after market. Original factory a/c on those cars had the cold air vent on the rear package shelf, air scoops on the rear fenders just behind the rear doors and about half of the plumbing in the trunk. Also. the power windows appear to be after market, as they are only power up front, the rear windows are cranks.

What a beautiful 55 I road a lot of miles in one like this same green except ours was a darker green on top and dark freen on the sides between the chrome. It was fast. Liked the gear shift on the dashboard.
