General Motors has debuted its redesigned 2009 Pontiac Vibe. The five-seat, crossover SUV features revised exterior and interior designs and enhanced safety features, including a tire pressure monitoring system, OnStar and an electronic vehicle stability control system. GM announced the return of the all-wheel-drive and GT models to the Vibe line-up. Depending on the model and engine size, the Vibe's fuel economy in the city varies from an estimated 19 miles-per-gallon (mpg) to 26 mpg. All 2009 Vibe models are scheduled to rollout in early 2008.

  • It's a nice car . And it's even nicer since we can get it in AWD.

  • There both pretty much the same 4wd is when all wheels are locked together and Awd is when the engine sends more power to certian wheels for more traction, I think.

  • I've got one,,,We love it...

  • It's ashame GM is ditching Pontiac. They were making good cars. It will still be made in Canada though

  • Lol. I drive the red Pontiac Vibe GT and I love it so much.

Picks up way faster than my mom's Mazda.

And everywhere I go people ask what car it is, since it's not popular where I live.

  • sales of these cars are up 56%.

  • whats the difference between all-wheel drive and 4 wheel drive? but what all wheel drive?

  • I drive this car, and it gets 32 mpg overall, but I do drive hwy 80% of the time

  • The scary thing is that some people criticize the quality of GM product with quasi-literate English. Good grammar is free. Use some. If Americans don't know the difference between "there" and "their", rampantly misspell, abuse and neglect the apostrophe, abuse and ignore punctuation, fail to capitalize, use offensive ethnic terminology...how can we expect them to make quality products? GM makes much better cars than monsterman writes posts. ;-)

  • Irony is, that the Vibe is basically a Toyota Matrix in a less fugly body design. Same mechanicals, same interior, same MPG (26/32). So in this case, they are keeping up with the Japanese. ;)
