In Latin you have to decline verbs, which means you have to write out the 6 ways to say a verb.

They go like this: Singular Plural

1st person: I hang glide We hang glide

2nd person: You hang glide You hang glide

3rd person: He/she/it hang glides They hang glide

He was just making a joke that in English sometimes you add more -ed's to the end of verbs for their different meanings.
