Super helpful video, thanks for it. Just ordered the 4-stroke oil online and accidentally ended up with Yamalube "Marine Performance" instead of the all-purpose oil marketed for use in motorcycles, ATVs and scooters. Can't find any recommendations against using marine performance in a scooter though, do you know any reason I shouldn't?

@scooterkillz Hi mate. Actually, I'm from Northern Ireland, which is not a kick in the arse from Scotland, physically or culturally, so you were not far off. Oil lubricates the engine parts, preventing wear and tear and acting as a coolant. The standard wisdom is that you should change the oil on a new bike after 1000km, and then again after it's first 3,000km and every 3,000km thereafter. If you want to keep your engine in good shape, you should do this. Also, you should not but cheap oil.
