Life's Healing Choices offers freedom from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits through eight healing choices that promise true happiness and life transformation. Using the Beatitudes of Jesus as a foundation, Senior Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church and John Baker, who is also a pastor at Saddleback, developed the eight choices shared in this book. John Baker is the founder of Celebrate Recovery®, a ministry born out of the heart of Saddleback Church. Over the last sixteen years, nearly 10,000 individuals have gone through this Christ-centered recovery program at Saddleback. The Celebrate Recovery program is now being used in thousands of churches nationwide. Over 400,000 individuals have completed the program.

  • Oh and I don't suffer from addictions - I suffer from emotional exhaustion but thanks to these 12 step books, I am learning how to love myself and the Lord at the same time and now I am seeing a difference in my kids. It's a miracle.

  • CR has saved my life. I would never have known how to heal and learn a relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ without this program. Religion(church) has been so intimidating and so CR helps me learn to grow and heal and learn myself through Christ's vision for me. I believe in this. They don't force anything on me - I love that. I learn if I want to learn, and I DO!

  • @vilen25 CR points to Jesus Christ, CR is a Christ Centered Program I have seen hundreds of people except Jesus as their Lord and Saviour by coming through this program.

  • Sorry Pastor Baker, your theology is wrong. CR is a legalistic program which reinforces the flesh. There's no such thing as a "Christ-centered program." Christ IS the program. Give up on trying to get sober----Give up and let Christ live His life through you. Principles and Steps are just reinforcing your flesh (self-effort). CR can help you manage your sin, but their methodology won't set you free---there's a difference!
