Yes it is easy to say that the US is in a worse state then in 2008, but the effects of the recession were not as noticable as they are today, espically when you consider the prosperity that seemed to exisist up to that point. Obama has not had complete succsess, but you just need to look at the blatent lies made by Ryan, or the complete lack of policey being put forward by the republicans at the moment to relise how bad it could of been or could still be.

"The best government is the least government" ? Then why do you live in a developed nation under government management? You could move to Togo, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Madagascar, Central African Republic, Niger, Eritrea, Burundi, Somalia, Zimbabwe, and the list goes on. All you'll need is a spear, and you won't have to pay taxes of worry about the government providing any services at all.
