A joint project of FRONTLINE/World and the Chicago Tribune, "Jesus in China" examines the wave of Christianity that has been sweeping across the country in recent years, and the different ways the Chinese ruling party—officially atheist—is now racing to control it.

Jesus teaches christians to give to their country & system AND to love GOD as He commands. so the Chinese govt should NOT fear Christians BUT Should PROMOTE christianity and see Great miracles and transformation of spirit of people who will love the country even more and care for others as they care for themselves.

Communism says there is NO GOD. That we should serve the government LIKE it is our God. In that case, you remove God from the equation of an everyday Lord to just a "1-hour on Sunday God." That is what China wants, & even North Koreans cannot worship at all or they will be arrested (they are more like a cult though).

Communitsts for Jesus?

Why not? BOTH Communism & Evangelical religion are dogmatic & repressive in their approaches, so, it won't be that much of a switch for them, really. The communists see the writing on the wall. They know they're dying out. Soon, you'll see former C leaders becoming heads of these churches. They need power, anyway they can get it. Ever notice, as soon as a population starts making money, churches swoop right in...looking for their cut?
