  • @Sewin2 areas that used to be part of wales before the rigged 1536 boundary ...think West of Clun..think rural west oswestry, think archenfield and peterchruch which were all welsh speaking areas in 1800s....they should get a vote to join Wales then?

  • Since the last devoloution vote (i.e. 2 weeks ago) and some of the comments written below it seems acceptable to be a "pro devolution" county. Its worth noting the at the English Nationlist party plan to give Monmoushire (the only county who voted by a very small majority against more Asembly powers) the option of joining England and leaving Wales. Hmmm? Al

  • I thought i'd never see it. i did . I remember watching this thinking "please dont make us the only country in europe without a parliment...... yes yes yes yes yes!

  • look at thise traitors in the no camp....in my area many people voted no as they wanted independence LOL

  • @knightvox dont believe the lies.....still some decent welsh speaking communities in the east of wales fel rhosllannerchrugog

  • @trystanxcynan ,by the way -yes theres a number of of settlers from liverpool etc settling there but most of liverpool is made up of welsh and irish settlers in the first place! and by your measure of nationality london would have to be taken away from england because because its a melting pot, manchester and liverpool would have to be given back to its irish and welsh settlers and carlisle needs to be given back to scotland.my point is that you are simplistic and naiive.

  • @trystanxcynan thats an idiotic and naive argument, have u actually taken a democratic vote to substantiate your points? i think your being insulting and patronising to the people of north east wales to generilise like that-im sure theres a varied and broad range of opiniosn there same as everywhere-citizens of wales dont have to walk around waving a welsh flag and munching leeks to prove their nationality and allegiance
