The Death Of Optimus Prime - Hurt

When I was a kid Transformers were huge. My cousin and I both had the toys and the movie which we watched over and over.

It's the first film aimed at kids that I can remember featured death - especially of such a popular character as Optimus Prime.

Orson Wells, Lenord Nimoy and Eric Idol all provided voice talent and Stan Bush contributed to a fantastic soundtrack.

Anyway, I love the Johnny Cash cover of Hurt and felt that the two could really go well together.

I'm really proud of this one and it seems to be the most popular AMV I've done to date. My mum watched it and she cried - I think that kind of says it all!

Optimus Prime you mean more to me than just a fictional character. In my mind, you are a nonfictional hero. RIP Rodimus = Junk Optimus = Awesome it should of been megatron he will pay..with his life

Optimus was real laid back and a humble autobot..didn't let the fame get to his head..we hung out one night and I got so smashed that he transformed and drove me home and brought my car with him..true story..He will be missed..RIP old friend you was da man!!
