use a fork lift motor and this thing would blow off a Bugatti,no you say, take a look at the electric powered X 1 wright speed,a Ariel Atom with a fork lift motor,it rips off 11.1 quarter mile times with 0-60 in 2.9.just kidding,it would be stupid, but fun to dream

these types of vehicles, enclosed cab type motorcycles, mono-tracer offer incredible mpg at highway speeds, god to see more people looking into.see Craig vetter's site,he's working on a simple aero package for the Honda Helix,100mpg at 70 mph with 3 bags of food.
I like the tube chassi, the cost factor vrs a carbon fiber monoque chassi is much less.Using 4130 steel you end up with a light weight chassi which is safe too.Maybe a little kevlar around the cockpit for good mearsure.I agree the cool looking fin will have to go.

Having had a monotracer, I like it! I suspect you will run afoul of the regulators with the rear fins, which appear too aggressive positioned and could threaten or catch a pedestrian. A nice feature of the MT and Etracer is driver visibility equal to car drivers. I hope you sell them!
