This video shows how the Virtual Dementia Tour was helpful to one family member as she tried to understand her mother's plight. Developed by P.K.   • After viewing videos provided by the Lighthouse Institute, it showed how difficult it is to try to see with the spot in the middle as a function of of macular degeneration. The spot is not designed to simulate the blind spot in the retina but rather, the spot subsequent to macular degeration. Thanks for your comment.

  • Absolutely brilliant.

    I am working on the interpersonal skill transformation which needs to take place.

    NORMAL family behaviours can make things worse.

  • i know there is a blind spot in each eye where the retina meets the optic nerve, but since we already ignore it instinctively, why would u draw it on the goggles?
