This video is just some basic Bob Long Marq Maintenance. Taking out the engine, lubing it, putting it back in.

I use dow55 on the internals, and lurker lube or gun oil on the outside orings.

Troubleshooting-

* Watch for cut oring debris in the rear transfer hole
* don't overtighten your engine halves. Back the engine out about 1/16 of a turn from snug
* run your LPR at 80psi, HPR at around 210psi for 300fps
* If your gun isn't shooting properly, just replace all the engine orings. Many times you get rolled orings and the pressure leaks into other parts of the engine
* put an EXTREMELY thin layer of lube around the breech for the bolt with your finger
* prelube the gun body before sliding in the engine
* Use an old marq bolt to remove the engine

The marq is one of my favorite guns made today. Super light, extremely tough, best feedneck in paintball, very little kick, extremely accurate and great air effeciency.

Enjoy!

  • Hey mike, I just got a Russian Legion Marq and it is having some issues firing. The internals are all lubed but when i fire there is only a small pop noise. The engine is moving very very slightly but not nearly enough to push the ball out. Tried ajusting velocity but nothing seems to work. I could make a video response if need be, just really want this gun to work, nobody seems to know how to fix it.

  • 7:37 nice catch! i get my bob long marq closer next week.. pretty excited
