On Saturday, September 20th 2008, CAN-DO will be at Crow Creek participating in the "A Day of Dignity" project, a humanitarian effort to be held at Crow Creek Indian Reservation, Fort Thompson, South Dakota. In its second year of existence, this humanitarian event was started to provide immediate need assistance for this impoverished Sioux tribal community of 2800 people as well as others in dire need in the area.

  • Sunflower messages from my mother Michele L. Neill, I planeted sunflower seeds for my mothers garden, then Native crow message started in! But plant sunflowers I did some research on them, and wow, a major oil product, food, breads and crows, wow!! Start planting!! And clean out your waters if ya see somthing that don't belong there! I cleaned out some of the Steel and Iron that was in my neighborhood creek and when I was done, i looked in the sky and a big smilling Ducky was there!! Wow! Give!

  • My grandfather Charley Bird came from Crow Creek as he was born around 1890. Then he was taken to Chamberlain area mission school. I got a letter from St. Josephs asking for help with the heating costs this month. Pass this video around friends, let us show the majority what is going on and awaken them.

  • I am a member of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe and after viewing this video, I am sad to know that my people struggle this hard to survive. I have lived on the rez for a little while,but it was not this bad. I am a single mother with two children but would like more information on how i can help.

  • hey i swear to GOD ii live in fort thompson! thats wear my familiy grew up dang u know or skew is so bad we mite have to close it..even the rez.. its sad to see that ppl from my rez are steelin lyke we freakin have enough money...our lucnh taste lyke freakin plastic you know how sad dat it :( im glad someone realizes what we are goin thru my fam. dont have enough 4 christ mas gifts i have 6 bros and a nepew in a 3 bedroom house + mom and dad rez lyfe aint easy
