I got him to sign a solo and an Everly's CD cover for me. There was this kind of tense moment when the bloody pen failed. But it passed quickly. Love this guy.

how many artists have you ever heard with the harmony as smooth as the everly bros. and who sound as good now as they were 30 or so yrs ago,I don,t know of any.Have you ever notice when they sing live on stage their sound is as smooth as if it was on a recording,They,ll never be another duet like them,we had the pleasure of listening to the best,

I have always been facinated by Phil's solo stuff. I love him and Don together but you never get to hear Phil take the lead. I'm not knocking Don here, that's just the way they do things. Buthere, you DO get to hear Phil by himself and he's fantastic! Thanx for posting. Happy "B" Day Phil.

I REMEMBER HEARING THIS SONG ON RADIO ONE (LATE 1982) LOVED IT THE FIRST TIME I HEARD IT. UNFORTUNATELY IT ONLY MADE THE BOTTOM PART OF THE TOP 50 (IN THE UK) WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT IT WASNT A BIGGER HIT FOR PHIL.

Why the hell are the hand clappings all wrong? They should be on the second and fourth beat, not first and third (which is unfortunately common).

are there any more of phils that you have such as browneyes. i couldn't understand why don never meant for phil to be in the spotlight but after hearing some of phil's solos, i can almost see why. phil does awe inspiring things with his voice and his prescence. do you have any of these megasuggs. it would be a priviledge to hear. another comment

Thanks mate. That is the guitar he gave Don as a present whent they first met after the split. Don used it at the Reunion Concert. Do you know if he ever performed "She means nothing to me" with Cliff live on TV??
