Step: Motors

This videos demonstrates the use of motors. The blue ball is a motor with a torque / force. The black rect is a "wall", the green thing is a spring connected to the wall. When the motor and the wall hit each other they are bouncing back, depending on the torque.

The slider at the bottom controls the torque of the motor. Of course, you could also simply move the torque with the mouse, as always in Step.
