@SludgePunkGrunge Messier as dirty as Simon? Is this a joke? Messier was by all means very aggressive and threw some flying elbows from time to time but it was a different time period where you could get away with that stuff. Post-lockout the league really cracked down on that stuff. Go watch games from the early 90's and they look like tackle football games some of them. Not to mention what Simon did to Hollweg which 1,000x as bad than anything Messier did.

@raiboy7 you must be new to the NHL if you think that. Bryan Marchement, Darius Kasparitis, Matt Cooke, shit Messier was just as dirty as Simon.

Are you fucking serious? Sure, Ruutu is annoying, but he is not a guy who tries to injury opponent players on purpose. I dont know what kind of person thinks that cutting people with skate is acceptable.
