  • Too dangerous for a dumb TV audience.

    Move it to the internet.

  • "Now that we saw it again, as soon as the show's over, I'm getting a cheesecake." Best part.

  • I completely agree with them. Coming from someone who has an ed, I think most of you in the comments are being WAY to sensitive towards this. You could look at almost ANY commercial and say it relates to, or could trigger and ed or some other disorder. Don't watch tv if you're that over sensitive.

  • These two are uneducated about eating disorders and are missing the point. After a woman battles with herself over whether she should have cheesecake (an average kind of thought), a skinnier woman comes in. The heaver one notices how slim she is and mentions it in a very positive way. It's the way this thinner woman was portrayed as being someone women should strive to be like that aids in the large overarching image of women as being not good enough unless they are a certain weight.

  • the women talking is stupid, what does she know about eating disorders

  • If its triggering to a recovering alcoholic then those commercials should be pulled too

  • Omg how the frick is she wide in the hips??? This commercial does display a lot of ed thoughts. These people obviously dont know anything about eating disorders.

  • Might a Yoplait commercial trigger an eating disorder? Yes.

Might a Bud Lite commercial trigger a recovering alcoholic to relapse? Yes.

So what? Leave it on TV. If you're sensitive, wear a helmet.

  • It doesn't cause eating disorders but it normalizes an unhealthy thought process that an eating disorder sufferer would have.

  • Fuck that girl. Having ED is hard to live with. And yes that is how I rationalize before eating and no... It's not normal.

  • I have non-purging bulimia. Of course, the ad doesn't cause eating disorders, and saying it does is just stupid. But it is definitely triggering to people who already have an ED, especially if they are trying to recover from one.

The thought process in the ad is extremely similar to mine, and no doubt that it's the same for many other sufferers. It's always like, "If I starve myself for five days, will it cancel out the giant binge I went on today?"

  • @lonerookrs1 women arent 'obssessed' with being thin its a freakin menta disease so stop i have an ED what youre saying is rude and isnt true so shut up
