Heritage USA / PTL in June 1988 Vid #6

Begins near the chalets & cabins next to the lake.

At 1:03, the first few feet of the sidewalk I am standing on is all that is left of this segment. Everything up the hill beyond where I am standing in ths video has been demolished, and new housing tracts have taken its place. The sidewalk led up to the Buffalo Depot train station and playground. Both are now competely gone, replaced with houses & condos.

At 2:50, I entered an abandoned lakeside outdoor theatre, which, too, is now completely gone. The only thing left of this immedite area is the wood platform I am standing on at 3:35. Of course, the tracks are also gone as well. The two Lakeside Lodges shown at 4:40 are still in place, and used, apparently. The pool at 5:38 is also intact, as well, and is now used by residents of the housing development which now surrounds it.

The Empty Playground at 2:26 is rather sad. It should have been filled with children playing. But thanks to Falwell....desolate.
