The carbonated water is for foliar feeding.
Spraying the undersides of the leaves.
The carbonated bubbles pop on the leaves releasing Co2.
This should generally be done shortly after lights out.
If you spray during the day time hours, the water droplets can act as a magnifying glass and burn the leaves.

@3r1k510 im pretty sure its not. the spray bottle is to wet the plant itself, and i dont think it has any use to use carbonated water.
The carbonated water for the soil (i think) helps to keep the soil "fluffy" and helps with drainage and absorption of water by all the roots.
but still, i dont know shit really, im just using (my) common sense...;)

@salvucci91 My guess is that he sprayed them with destilled water since CO2 is only used in the flowering room and they already receive nutrients through the hydro system. Maybe he just sprayed them to get any dirt/dust off before cutting the clones off?

@salvucci91 I believe it was carbonated water so they got some co2

he was using a spray bottle at the very beginning... was it filled with nutrient-enriched water? Was it just distilled water? How much/often should I be spraying them on top of 3 times a day drip?
